My trip to Hot Springs was incredible. On Friday, May 24th, 2024, it was field day at my school. My dad, mom, and my sister came to pick me up, and we drove to our Airbnb stay. We made two stops along the way because it was a 6-hour drive. The stops were at a gas station and Love’s store to get some coffee and hot chocolate. At 8:30 pm, we were hungry, so we bought three wraps from Sonic. We reached our Airbnb stay by 8:45 pm. It was a treehouse surrounded by trees and had a big deck with hammocks. I loved the nooks and crannies of our comfy stay. We took all of our luggage out of the car, ate our wraps, and went to sleep.

Saturday, May 25th, 2024:

The next morning, we woke up, had breakfast, and got dressed to go outside. We drove to the science museum and saw a lot of cool things. We watched two fabulous shows called the TESLA Theatre and the Digital Dome. I got to touch the plasma ball, which was displayed in the show. My sister and I played on the skywalk and dinosaur trails there. As we were hungry after the long museum visit, we went to have a Chinese buffet, which was awesome. Next, we visited Hot Springs National Park and saw a Bath House. I even got to touch a hot spring, which was really hot. We also went for a duck tour, which included both a road and lake tour. Then, we bought dinner – 3 subs from Subway. We returned to our Airbnb, ate our Subway sandwiches, and slept.

Sunday, May 26th, 2024:

The next day, we woke up, packed our luggage, and began our journey back home. We drove for 2 hours from our Airbnb. As we started to get hungry, we stopped at a Mexican restaurant and ate a lot of food. Then, we visited a place called Beavers Bend State Park in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. We went to the swim beach there and played a little bit. We also saw a dam. Afterward, we drove for 3 hours and finally reached our Home Sweet Home.
