I had the most AMAZING trip ever to Disney World in Orlando, Florida! It was during Christmas time, so everything was extra magical! My family and I had the BEST time, and I want to share all the fun with you!

Day 1: Arrival and Disney Springs

We flew on Spirit Airlines from Dallas to Orlando. It was only a 2-hour flight, so it felt really quick! When we got there, we took an Uber to our Disney hotel, Port Orleans – Riverside. It was such a beautiful place, with green trees and trails everywhere. We stayed in the Alligator Bayou part of the hotel, and our room had a pool view. We were really close to the bus stop and ferry station, which was awesome!

After we got settled in, we went to the hotel lobby and saw all the Christmas decorations. Everything was sparkling! Then we took a boat to Disney Springs, which is like a big shopping and entertainment area. We had dinner at an Indian restaurant, rode the carousel, and saw the Christmas decorations with fake snowflakes falling. It was SO pretty!

When we got back to our room, we found a Mickey Mouse alarm clock that can talk! If you said “Hey Disney,” the clock would tell jokes, and it was so funny. My sister and I loved it!

Day 2: Animal Kingdom and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

The next morning, we woke up super early and went to Animal Kingdom. The entrance to the park looked like a magical jungle with huge trees and colorful flowers! Our first ride was Pandora – The Avatar Flight of Passage. It felt like we were flying on the back of a dragon! It was amazing. My sister and mom did the gentler ride, Navi River Journey. Meanwhile, my dad and I waited in line for the big one. It was worth it!

We also did the Kilimanjaro Safari and saw animals like giraffes, elephants, and even a gorilla! My sister made everyone laugh with her silly jokes.

Then we went on the Kali River Rapids ride and got totally SOAKED. My dad got the worst of it! After that, I went on Expedition Everest. It is a super fun roller coaster. It goes up a mountain and then speeds backward and forward. It was SO thrilling!

Later, we went to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom. We got special tree ornaments, watched a Christmas dance show with all the Disney characters, and saw the Christmas parade. The characters wore festive outfits, and everything was so colorful! My sister got a bubble wand that made bubbles everywhere, and we even went on Dumbo the Flying Elephant. I loved being able to control how high my elephant went! We also went on the Barnstormer ride with Goofy, which was super fun. We rode Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. We saw Snow White and her seven dwarfs hard at work in their diamond mine. Then, we went on Peter Pan’s Flight. It took us soaring over London and Neverland. Both rides were so interesting!

We also had a character dinner at an American restaurant, where we met few of Disney characters. After dinner, we danced with them! It was so much fun spinning and laughing with them, and they were super playful!

The fireworks at the end of the night were amazing! The grand finale was the Haunted Mansion ride, which was kind of spooky, but I loved it. It was such an exciting day!

Day 3: More Magic at Magic Kingdom

We spent another day at Magic Kingdom. We started by buying Minnie Mouse ears to remember the trip. We took a lot of cute photos in front of Cinderella’s Castle with Disney photographers! We even got a magical photo where it looks like a fairy is in my sister’s hand!

Our first ride was Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, where we shot lasers at targets. Then we went on Astro Orbiter, which is like Dumbo the Flying Elephant, but on rockets! We enjoyed a yummy Mexican brunch in Adventureland. Afterward, we went on the classic Pirates of the Caribbean ride which exhibits the life of pirates. It was so cool!

We stood in line for Jungle Cruise, renamed Jingle Cruise due to the festive season. Unfortunately, it was kind of slow. It was not as exciting as I thought it would be. Afterward, we took photos with Mickey, Minnie, and Daisy Duck.

One of my favorite parts was driving a car on the Tomorrowland Speedway—it was so fun to be in control! Later, my mom and I went on the TRON Lightcycle ride, which was AMAZING. The line was super long, but the ride was fast, and I felt like I was zooming through space! My dad and sister went on the Mad Tea Party ride. They also enjoyed the Winnie the Pooh ride while we were on TRON.That evening, we had a delicious Italian dinner at a cozy restaurant in Magic Kingdom.

Day 4: EPCOT and Departure

On our last day, we went to EPCOT. The first thing we saw was the giant silver ball called Spaceship Earth. It told the story of how people have learned and grown over time. After that, my dad and I rode Soarin’ Around the World. We felt like we were flying over famous landmarks. My mom and sister went on the Nemo ride. They talked to a turtle there. We all met up afterward to see a big aquarium!

We also went on Living with the Land, a boat ride that showed cool farming technology. Then we explored the World Showcase, which has 11 different countries with fun things to see and taste! We tried food from Morocco and China, even though it rained a little. We also listened to a storyteller tell a story about Hanukkah.

A special moment was when I went on Mission: SPACE with my mom. We “traveled” to Mars, and I was the pilot! It was so cool! To finish the day, I saw a beautiful rainbow in the sky—it was like a perfect ending to our trip.

We had a magical day at EPCOT. Then, we took a cab to the airport. Before we knew it, we were flying back home. My heart was full of all the memories from our special trip.
